A project from PolTextLab, not for translation but for policy topic classification: its multilingual encoder model (the “Babel Machine” approach) underlies the CAP issue classifier this project uses, described in Methodology.

An R package by Lukas Warode providing consistent, official color codes for European political parties. This dashboard's party colors are drawn from it, extended with additional parties not yet covered by the original package.
ParlGov ↗
The Political Data Yearbook / Parliament and Government database, a standardized cross-national resource on parties, elections, and cabinets in parliamentary democracies. PartySOME's party universe and party identifiers are anchored to ParlGov, which is also what lets this dataset be linked to other resources that share the same identifiers (e.g. the Chapel Hill Expert Survey, Party Facts, the Political Party Database).
Comparative Agendas Project (CAP) ↗
An international collaboration maintaining a standardized coding scheme for classifying policy content across countries and sources. PartySOME II applies the CAP master codebook to classify social media posts into major policy topics — see Methodology for an overview of the categories used here, and the master codebook linked above for the full scheme.
